Project Challenges

Pacific National aimed to upgrade the outdated lighting at its Brisbane Freight Terminal. The primary objectives were to improve visibility for train drivers and on-site staff, enhance safety around level crossings and rail lines, and reduce the high operational costs associated with outdated lighting. The project was highly complex due to the terminal’s continuous operations, strict work health and safety (WH&S) regulations, and the need to meet specific lighting compliance levels for safe and efficient operations.
